Your Data, Your Control
Caffeinated Softworks builds applications with privacy in mind. Our apps store data on your device first, and only sync to our servers if you choose to create an account. You can use many of our applications completely offline with no account, and your data never leaves your device unless you opt in.
When you enable sync, your data is encrypted in transit. We store your data on our servers to sync across your devices, but we do not access, analyze, or sell your content.
What We Collect
Without an account: We collect no personal data. Anonymous crash reports may be sent if you opt in.
With an account: We collect your email address for authentication and communication. If you subscribe, payment is processed by Apple (App Store), Google (Play Store), or Stripe (web). We store subscription status but not payment details like credit card numbers.
When using sync: Your data and related content are stored on our servers to enable sync across your devices.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to provide our services:
- Email: Account login, password reset, and important service updates
- Synced content: Syncing across your devices
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on our servers as long as your account is active. If you delete content, it may be moved to trash and permanently deleted after 30 days. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Data stored locally on your device is under your control and is not affected by account deletion.
