TrueRing

TrueRing was a business phone service built on my CallSphere VoIP platform. It offered toll-free and local number options, free long distance within the continental United States, voicemail to email, fax to email, Find-Me-Follow-Me call routing, and many other modern business telephony features.

I built this project through Innovotel, LLC, which has since merged into Caffeinated Softworks.

The Problem

IsoFusion, Inc. had been using managed hosted VoIP solutions from various vendors for several years. Those offerings could not be branded or customized for clients, and suffered from slowness and poor call quality. Commercial alternatives came with large price tags and still lacked the customization needed to fit into IsoFusion’s portfolio of services.

The Solution

IsoFusion and I entered into a partnership through Innovotel and created TrueRing, LLC. IsoFusion provided the infrastructure and support staff, while I provided my CallSphere platform to handle voice calls, user management, call routing, and billing.

After analyzing IsoFusion’s requirements, I added all required calling features to CallSphere in just a few months. Existing customers were migrated to the new TrueRing system, and both call quality and customer satisfaction improved.

As the customer base grew, each new business brought slightly different call handling requirements, driving continued development. I eventually designed and released CallSphere v2.0, featuring an entirely new interface and an expanded feature set. The platform was highly customizable and could be themed to blend into almost any business website.
