Why It Exists
I used GnuCash for years. Life got complicated, I fell behind, and nothing I tried afterward synced cleanly between my phone and my desktop. The desktop apps had terrible mobile experiences. The mobile apps had no real desktop version. The web-based ones required a browser and a login I’d forget about.
So I built what I actually wanted: a fast, offline checkbook register that works on every device and keeps everything in sync without me managing database files.

What It Does
- Transaction register with running balances across checking, savings, credit cards, cash, and investment accounts
- Full double-entry accounting so every dollar is accounted for
- Bank reconciliation that works the way it should: enter your statement balance, tap transactions to mark them cleared, watch the difference update in real time
- Smart entry that remembers your payees and auto-fills amount, category, and memo from your last transaction with them
- Recurring transactions for rent, subscriptions, paychecks, anything that repeats
- Cash flow and spending reports broken down by category, payee, or tax status
- QIF import if you are migrating from GnuCash, Quicken, or other software
- Shared accounts with a multi-user subscription, so both partners can log transactions to the same account
Mobile and Desktop
The mobile app is clean, fast, optimized for quick entry while you are standing in line at the grocery store.
The desktop app is a native application, not a mobile app in a wrapper. Keyboard shortcuts throughout, tab between fields, Ctrl-Enter to save and move to the next transaction. It feels like desktop finance software used to feel before everything moved to the web.
