About Marc Lewis
I’m Marc Lewis, the founder of Caffeinated Softworks. I’ve been writing software since 1982. I got my first paid programming job at 14 through the early BBS community. I went on to found Blarg! Online Services, one of Seattle’s early dialup, DSL, and shared hosting providers, where I built TACC (Total Accountability Customer Care) to manage our entire billing, provisioning, and customer support operations. Since then, I’ve built everything from VoIP platforms and real estate compliance systems to the consumer apps I ship today.
I build apps for everyday life. Notes, calendars, health tracking, finances. Each one is designed to be simple, private, and reliable. No accounts required, no tracking, no ads, and no AI. Your data stays on your device, not in someone’s training pipeline. Just useful software that works the way you expect it to.
Before Caffeinated Softworks, I ran Innovotel, where I built platforms like Validox (which I designed, developed, and maintained for nearly eight years, helping establish it as a leading provider in the valuation audit space) and TrueRing (a VoIP platform powered by my CallSphere engine). I co-founded Vueterix and Venntrio, where I continue to lead technology strategy and development for real estate compliance and analytics.
My primary focus is split between Vueterix, where I lead all technology development, and building the Caffeinated apps. I still take on select consulting and development work for organizations that need experienced technical leadership.
